Amy Hannig, CDP from Marshall Rehabilitation and Nursing, spoke with MHS students about the many job opportunities they offer area high school students.
This facility is a 75-bed skilled nursing and sub-acute rehabilitation site that provides short-term rehabilitation and long-term care to individuals with health conditions that require higher levels of medical and nursing services unavailable at home. Amy spoke to the students that they view the facility as a "home" for their residents and that employees come into the "home" to provide wonderful care for the individuals receiving rehabilitation or services. She encouraged students to consider the healthcare field, discussed the flexibility of the hours, salary/benefits, and volunteer opportunities that abound in this facility.
Any brought holiday treats to those who attended and will give gift cards to any student who applies and interviews for a position (even if they do not accept a position with the company). Amy is the Community Relations Coordinator and can be reached at 217-826-2358.
