Lora Parcel's Child Development class completed their final project with MES first graders this week.  The HS students read aloud a book called "The Candy Cane Fiasco" and then did a science lesson about germs and hand-washing. First graders got to see "germs" under a blacklight after they had washed their hands just to demonstrate how they can spread if they don't wash thoroughly.  The first graders loved having the high schoolers in their classroom and MHS students did a great job of planning, preparing, and presenting the lessons.
