Mercury Bowen, 2014 MHS Graduate and current Lake Land College Employee, recently spoke with MHS students about all of the services available at LLC for students. Mercury told students that if they have an identified disability that Lake Land College offers support to help them be successful in college. Lake Land also offers social/emotional counseling services to all students as wellness and mental health is important to the college. Tom Moll is the Coordinator of the Mental Health Services at LLC and is available to support students. Being involved in on-campus activities, intramurals, clubs, etc. can help students meet new people and make them feel included in the campus "family” that Lake Land College promotes. Mercury also discussed that cost, small class sizes, and individual attention are also great aspects of Lake Land College.
