MHS Senior, Xavier Hiatt, recently went to the Army Military Entrance Processing Station in Indianapolis to sign up for military service. He will leave for basic training at Fort Jackson on June 18th. Xavier said he hopes to go to Ranger School following his initial training at Fort Jackson. He hopes to become part of the infantry and serve our Nation overseas on active duty. Xavier has family members who served in the military and that is what first sparked his interest in joining the armed forces. He added, "I'm a bit nervous, but very excited" about a future in the military. Good luck to Xavier and thank you for serving our Country...MHS is proud of you!
