Please welcome Taylor Cochonour as the new District Speech Pathologist!
Mrs. Cochonour attended Indiana State University and received a Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Minors in Psychology and Counseling.
She is from Marshall, IL, but is currently living in Terre Haute, IN with her husband and toy poodle. When asked for some "fun facts" on Mrs. Cochonour, she said, "A fun fact is that my husband and I had the opportunity to live in Hawaii for a while, and I was able to complete my school internship there. It was so interesting to see how differently things were done there! Another fun fact is that my mom and two of my aunts work at Martinsville Elementary school as well, and I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with them and all the amazing staff in the Martinsville School District! "
Mrs. Cochonour added: "I am so thankful for the career I am in and I am also very passionate about what I do. I believe that all forms of communication are extremely important. I am so excited to meet my students and for them to learn effective communication strategies. I am excited to build rapport with my students and build relationships with the staff. I hope to make speech therapy a fun and positive experience for all my students."
