MES is excited to announce that the new PE teacher will be Todd Evers! Todd's hometown is Newburgh, Indiana. He attended: Indiana State University (2006) & Eastern Illinois University (2013). He holds degrees in: Physical Education (K-12) and Educational Leadership - Administration.
Mr. Evers said, "I have dedicated my life to my passions of education, athletics and family. For twelve rewarding years, I served as a dedicated Physical Education teacher and football coach at Marshall High School before transitioning seamlessly into administration. Over the past six years at Monrovia High School (Indiana), I served as both Athletic Director and Assistant Principal. Beyond my educational background, I’m happy to be a husband to Nici (3rd grade teacher at MES) and a proud dad to our three lovely daughters, Grace, Maylee, and Harper. We love all things Disney as well ad visiting the the beach. When I’m not busy, I love spending time with my family, watching sports, and fishing."
Mr. Evers would like for our community and students to know that he is very passionate about what he does. "As a physical education teacher, my goal is to teach my students ways to live a healthy life and help them create lifelong activities by introducing and revisiting a variety of games, exercises and locomotor skills that can be used for a lifetime. As a former coach and administrator, I’m also eager to incorporate responsibility and assured leadership skills into the student learning experience."
Let's give Mr. Evers a BIG Bluestreak welcome!
