We would like to welcome back Mrs. Nici Evers to MES as a 3rd grade teacher! Mrs. Evers is originally from Martinsville and graduated with a Bachelor of Science-Early Childhood Education degree from Eastern Illinois University.
She is married to Todd Evers who will be the new PE teacher at MES. They have 3 girls: Grace, Maylee, and Harper. She began her teaching career at MES where she was in the 3rd grade classroom for 2 years and then the kindergarten classroom for 4 years. She coached volleyball for the junior high and high school for 13 years along with her dad. Mrs. Evers said, "My husband and I then moved away to the Indianapolis area where I was able to stay home with our girls the last 6 years. I love everything Disney, the Beach, sports, and Target!"
She added: "I am proud to be a Bluestreak and glad to be back and be a part of the community again. I can’t wait to have my girls, as well as my husband become Bluestreaks! We Bleed Blue! I am so excited to be back teaching at Martinsville. I am excited to work with former coworkers as well as some new ones. I love everything about this school and can't wait to make an impact in my students lives again."
