Chloe Connelly, senior, has returned to 5th grade again! She was a student in Mrs. Conzen's class and now she has returned as a HS aide working alongside her former elementary teacher.

Mrs. Conzen said, "Chloe is amazing. She is able to accomplish anything that is thrown at her. Chloe doesn’t bat an eye when I give her something to do, she simply does it. This includes times where I’m not always sure how to accomplish what I want done. The kids look forward to her time in the room and have a great rapport with her. She has taken students one-on-one or in small groups to help them in a variety of ways. This help is so appreciated!"

Chloe is enjoying her experience as a helper in 5th grade. She noted: "working with Mrs. Conzen has shown me that working with children could potentially be the thing for me. Watching her encourage them in doing their best makes me happy to maybe one day potentially do the same. I love when the students come up to me and just start talking about their day or what they did In PE and who won or lost; it’s fun watching them be so competitive as I am the same way. It has been really fun."

Mrs. Conzen added: "Chloe is able to adapt to changes, accomplish goals, and power through tasks. She is a hard worker! I had the privilege of teaching this sweet girl and I’m so thankful to have her working with me this year! I have never doubted that Chloe would succeed at anything she sets out to accomplish."

Chloe has not decided on a major yet, but she plans on attending EIU. Thanks to Chloe for her work with Mrs. Conzen and 5th graders this year!
