Martinsville Community Unit School District #C3

Learning is even better when we learn from others! Mrs. Skidmore’s class had help reading with a special reader today, while Mrs. Young’s first graders continued sharing their grandparent interviews and discovering what life was like when their grandparents were young. We love seeing our Bluestreaks connect reading, learning, and family stories!

Thank you to Danielle Downs from Lake Land College for presenting valuable information about the financial aid process to our Class of 2027 seniors and their parents! We had a great turnout and appreciate so many of our families and students taking the time to attend and begin preparing for the next steps after high school.

Mrs. Young’s first graders are finishing up their unit on the past with a special grandparent interview! Students are learning firsthand how life has changed over the years by hearing stories from someone they love. We’ll wrap up our learning with an exciting trip to Lincoln School in October! What a fun way to bring history to life for our little Bluestreaks!

Please join us tomorrow at MES from 4:00 - 5:30 for a fun night! Many local organizations and churches will be there as well as our police, fire, and ambulance! See you there!

Accelerated Reading Celebration ~ Way to Read, Junior High Students!
